Thailand
The first time I went to Thailand was in 2006 and the second time was with The Sold Project in 2007. I've been lucky to go back nearly every year since. It's easy to fall in love with Thailand. There are amazing beaches, lovely people, and cheap pineapple smoothies. Unfortunately, like most places, there is a dark side. I've seen firsthand the damage that the sex-industry has had on this culture and heard the stories of kids that have worked the streets. It's awesome that there are organizations like The Sold Project that are fighting against child trafficking/prostitution with education.
