INDYreguee is a project that has went full throttle this year. The purpose is to tell the stories of Burmese refugees with a photo-art installation.  Living in a Indianapolis, Indiana, which has one of the highest Burmese refugee populations in the United States, has been an eye-opening experience into the lives of Burmese refugees. See more about this project at www.indyrefugee.com

This is Eli Mang and her two daughters. They live in Kuala Lumpur as refugees. They have been there for 5 years since escaping the military regime. When I asked her daughters what they wanted me to tell my friends and family about their life, they said, "We just want to be in school, that's all we want."

I should take full responsibility for initiating the jumping.

She's a total wild child.

They always stand outside and wave goodbye. I LOVE it.
