India, Part 2.
Although I've been to India before, I was thrilled to explore a totally different part of the country. Going on adventures in and around Bombay and seeing the Taj Mahal were hilights of my time. India is such an amazing and overstimulating place. It was an honor to spend time photograph clean water efforts in Nimboli involving bio-sand filters. We met this guy named Sunil who is one of the coolest and most resourceful people EVER. In an effort to provide his community with clean water, he went to a conference involving bio-sand filters, bought one, disassembled it, and figured out how to make them in a cost effective way. Now he and his small crew have nearly outfitted each person in his village with bio-sand filters.
