Swaziland
Most people may not know where Swaziland is, but it's a small country the size of Wisconsin situated in the North-Eastern part of South Africa. Swaziland is an incredibly beautiful place that has been ravished by HIV/AIDS. With a population of one million, it's estimated that there are 700,000 HIV positive people that live there. My friend Sibu that lives there told me that there are days that he has to decide whose funeral to go to. Most of the country is impoverished due to poor leadership (not lack of natural resources) and clean water is scarce. I'm thrilled to be part of a team that has a long term vision to provide clean water for the entire country over time.
